The best design decisions don't start with design. They start with understanding the people who live there.

How It All Started

Interior designer Maya Glazer with a family dog in a thoughtfully designed home.

I never planned to become an interior designer. Before moving to the United States, I spent years designing shoes and building my own brand. It taught me to appreciate thoughtful design, attention to detail, and the balance between beauty and function. When my family and I moved to the U.S., friends began asking for help with their homes. One project led to another, and what started as a few favors gradually became a new career, one that combined everything I loved most: creativity, problem-solving, and working closely with people. Today, I have the privilege of helping families create homes that are not only beautiful, but also feel effortless to live in.

How I work

I believe great design starts with listening. Every family lives differently, and every home should reflect the people who live there, their routines, priorities, and the way they want to feel when they walk through the front door.

I don't believe in creating homes that look like they belong in a magazine. I believe in creating homes that feel deeply personal, timeless, and effortless to live in.

Whenever possible, I love giving meaningful pieces a new life, whether it's restoring a vintage find, reimagining a cherished family heirloom, or creating custom details that simply can't be bought in a store. Those thoughtful layers are what give a home warmth, character, and a story that's uniquely yours.

Throughout every project, my role is to guide you through hundreds of decisions with honest advice, creative solutions, and a clear vision that keeps everything moving forward. My hope is simple: years after your project is complete, you'll still walk through your front door and love the way your home feels.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping clients see the potential in their homes before it becomes reality.

Designing someone's home is personal, and I never take that responsibility lightly.

It's a privilege to do what I love every day, and I'd be honored to help you create a home that feels just right for you and your family.
